Viking Casual Dress

Viking Casual days are scheduled when students and faculty participate in activities in the gym or outdoors, as part of a special event like a Pep Rally or as a reward for significant accomplishments. A Viking Casual day expresses and supports Viking Pride and Spirit.

The Viking Casual dress code includes items which obviously belong to a St. Elizabeth representative. The following are acceptable Viking items: St. E team or club activity shirts, Viking Shoppe t-shirts, class shirts, St. E hats, Blue*Gold shirts, St. E Youth Group shirts or DIAA Tournament shirts. All items worn must be clean, modest and in good repair. Viking apparel should be easily identified (no other cover-ups worn). St. E items may be worn with jeans, sweats, or wind-pants. Athletic shoes are required for gym activity days. Gentlemen are to be clean shaven.

The following are not acceptable for Viking Casual dress: shorts or rolled up sweats; items which are tight, low-cut, see-through, ripped, torn, or dirty; midriff shirts (all shirts must be able to be tucked in); unsafe shoes or bare feet; uncovered tattoos (they must be completely covered during school); combat-style or construction boots (i.e. Timberland boots); “do-rags”; and excessive or extreme jewelry.
