STUDENT HANDBOOK 2008 - 2009

Telephones, Cell Phones, Text Messages and Electronic Communications
Use of any type of portable communication device (phones, ipods, etc.) is not permitted during the school day or while in the buildings before and after school. Camera
photography is prohibited at all times in all buildings. Items will be confiscated and disciplinary action taken. In an emergency, we ask that you call the school and we will contact your child. This also will allow us to avoid class disruption. Further, the use of these devices during a test or quiz is a violation of our Academic Honesty Code.

Telephone

There are no pay-phones on campus. Students may not use the office phones except in cases of emergency.

Telephone Messages
Students cannot be called to the telephone during school hours. Messages will be delivered through the school office only in cases of real emergency. Parents are not to contact students via cell phones, text messages or pagers.

Electronic Communications
The use of cell phones, pagers, beepers or any other type of electronic communication device is not permitted in or around the building during the school day. They will be confiscated.
