STUDENT HANDBOOK
2008 - 2009
Library
The library is open
from 7:45 a.m. until
3:30 p.m. unless
students request a later
time. With written
permission, students may
report to the library to
use the facilities and
computer terminals
during unscheduled time.
Books may be borrowed
for a two-week period.
If at the end of this
time the materials have
not been requested by
another user, they may
be renewed for another
two weeks. A student is
responsible for the
books and materials he
checks out in his name
and must pay promptly
for anything he loses or
damages. A fine of five
cents a day including
holidays and weekends
will be charged for
overdue materials.
Reference materials may
not be lent overnight to
individual students but
may be used in the
library only. Current
magazines may be kept
out overnight.
Orderly and quiet
conduct is expected at
all times in the
library; food or drink
is not permitted there.
Students who wish to
work in the library
during an unscheduled
period must make
arrangements with the
appropriate teachers.
Under no circumstances
is a student to check
out his own book; the
Librarian or a library
assistant must do it.
Students who damage or
steal any library
material are subject to
serious disciplinary
action.
A copier is
available in the library
and, for ten cents a
page, students may make
copies.
