Letters
of Recommendation
Students who wish to
request letters of
recommendation from
faculty and
administration should do
so at appropriate times
after school or by
private appointment.
Seniors are given
teacher recommendation
forms at the end of
junior year and early in
the fall of senior year.
The student should make
such a request well in
advance of the required
deadline (end of
September) and should
provide any pertinent
information, forms, and
addresses for the
recommendation. Students
should request
recommendations of
faculty members who have
taught them in at least
one recent course. In
order to meet college
deadlines, students most
submit all paperwork to
their counselor on time.
The school accepts no
responsibility for late
applications, which are
a result of the
student's failure to
hand in materials when
they are due. Normally,
the due date is November
15.
