2008 - 2009
Confidentiality
Confidentiality does not
bind counselors in the
areas where maintaining
secrecy of information
presents clear and
present danger to a
client or to other
persons. In such cases,
when dealing with
minors, the school has
an obligation to inform
parents or guardians in
the areas of physical,
social, or mental
health.
