STUDENT HANDBOOK 2008 - 2009

Conduct in Hallways and Classrooms
The schedule provides sufficient time for passing from one class to another. Passing in corridors can be quicker and safer if courtesy and good judgment is exercised. High school students are not permitted in the elementary school corridors.
Walk quickly and quietly by the most direct route to the next classroom, keeping noise at a minimum. For reasons of safety, running is prohibited at all times. All traffic in corridors and at doorways should keep to the right and moving at all times. On stairways, students should use the ‘up' and ‘down' designations.
When the second bell rings, there is to be silence. If the teacher is not yet present, the class is to begin work and wait in silence. If after five minutes, the teacher has not yet arrived, the class is to notify the office by intercom or they will be required to make up lost time after dismissal.

No ipods, "Walkman" type players, or any other electronic devices are permitted at anytime.
