St. Elizabeth High School Peer Tutoring Program
Dear Student,
You are being offered the opportunity to enroll in the Peer Tutoring program. This is a voluntary program designed to help you succeed in your high school classes.
Peer Tutoring does not take the place of you working on your own to learn each of your subjects. Nor is it a way to have someone else do your homework. Rather it is a mechanism by which you can benefit from the experience of others.
This is a voluntary program, however once you are enrolled you are committed to attend each of your scheduled sessions.
è Students missing a session will receive a 1-and-1 detention unless they have an excused absence. To be excused you must fill out the appropriate form and give it to Mr. Bellomo BEFORE your session.ç
Peer Tutoring sessions are held twice a week in the school during lunch period. It is strongly recommended you BRING your lunch on those days so you are not late to tutoring. If you are more than ten minutes late, it will be an unexcused absence resulting in a detention.
In order to be enrolled in the SEHS Peer Tutoring program: 1. Your Parents/Guardians must sign an enrollment request form. 2. You must complete the back of this form. 3. You must meet with Mr. Bellomo for your interview.
