AP Summer Reading Assignment 2008

You will receive your first grade in AP English for completing all three summer readings/related assignments. Be prepared to present and discuss your reading and responses during the first class we meet after Labor Day weekend. We will be using the summer reading as our first unit of study. Do not get behind before we start! Be active readers: make sure you annotate the books and keep track of important pages and information. Use post-it notes, reading journals, or any method you like to be comprehensive readers, thinkers, and writers. If you have any questions, please email me at english237@aol.com or jmangan@viking.pvt.k12.de.us. This assignment is also posted on the school’s website. (Assignments are always typed.) I am looking forward to working with you in AP class, but, first, have a great summer! Mrs. Mangan
