FAFSA on the Web – Access to the on-line Federal Application For Student Aid form and information required for all applications for financial aid.

Delaware Mentor – An online guide where students can explore options to higher education and financial aid and complete applications for financial aid and college admissions. 

Federal Student Loan Summary

Financial Aid Estimation Form – This form is used to prepare an estimate of the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and financial need. 

U.S. Department of Education’s – website provides comprehensive information for college-bound students. Students can complete the FAFSA online; access publications, such as "The Student Guide to  Financial Aid" and "Funding Your Education;" and link to helpful sites.

Financial Terms You Should  Know 

Delaware Higher Education Commission – Representatives for the Delaware Higher Education Commission college financial aid offices and lending institutions will provide information about applying for state and federal financial aid.  All sessions are open to the public and free of charge. The Delaware Higher Education Commission administers 17 state student financial aid programs and seven private scholarship programs to help Delawareans continue their education after high school. Applicants for all state-funded programs must be Delaware residents.

National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators – Financial Aid Administrators helps students plan academically and financially for college. The site includes checklists, a glossary of terms, and an online version of their "Cash for College" brochure.

Student Financial Assistance Programs

Student.gov – Pay for your education. This site furnishes general information about the major federal student aid programs (who is eligible and how to apply), tax credits for education expenses, and other federal, state, and private sources of information.

Wired Scholar.com – If you're a student wondering where to go to college and how you're going to get there, or if you're a parent trying to unravel the mystery of the college and the financial aid application process, wired scholar is the site for you! This is the Web's premiere destination for getting a head start on preparing for the world of continuing education. You'll find pointers on the entire "Go-to-College" process from preparation to getting loans. Wired scholar also has interactive tools that enable you to analyze the affordability of schools and compare financial aid award letters.
