Scholarships Available to
Residents of the State of Delaware
The Higher Education Commission administers 23 state-sponsored financial aid programs and 9 private scholarship programs to help Delawareans continue their education after high school. Applicants for all state-funded programs must be Delaware residents and U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens.
NEW: High school seniors enrolled in a Delaware public, private, or charter school or home school program for the 2008-09 academic year can apply for the Delaware Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Essay Scholarship. The first-place winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship! The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008.
