DIRECTOR'S WELCOME
Step onto the campus of St. Elizabeth High School, and you immediately become part of an extraordinary 67-year-old educational heritage--a legacy inspired by the Benedictine tradition. Here, in a close-knit and welcoming environment of learning, friendship, spiritual growth, and service, young women and men throughout the greater Wilmington area find a sense of belonging and community. The promising students who enter St. Elizabeth High School each year fulfill the vision of Msgr. James Grant, the school’s founder--“Enter to learn; Leave to serve.” The SEHS experience is defined by the focus we place on our students. Students are warmly invited to share in a tradition of excellence the moment they join the St. Elizabeth family. This welcoming atmosphere at St. Elizabeth is firmly rooted in the Benedictine tradition of fellowship and family. For as the Rule of St. Benedict states, “All guests are to be welcomed as Christ, for he said, ‘I was a stranger and you welcomed me.’ ”

Our graduates possess an active faith, have deep respect for truth, abide by codes of personal integrity, and hold a genuine concern for others.
