ACADEMICS
Education at St. Elizabeth High
School provides a well-rounded,
rigorous college preparatory
curriculum while keeping in mind,
and striving to achieve, all aspects
of the school philosophy and
mission. The educational program
offers a core curriculum of liberal
studies—languages, mathematics,
sciences, fine arts, social studies,
and religious studies. The liberal
education format is intended to
produce a cultured, well-informed
person who can read, listen, and
converse intelligently about a
variety of topics. This contemporary
curriculum integrates Christian
values, exemplifies current
instructional strategies and
incorporates technology into
classrooms across the campus.
It is the goal of our curriculum
design to meet the needs of all
students enrolled at St. Elizabeth
High School. With this in mind,
students select challenging courses
consistent with their abilities, and
are able to meet college preparatory
expectations of St. Elizabeth HS,
the State of Delaware and other
prestigious colleges and
universities. There are special
advanced classes in some subject
areas to allow qualified students to
proceed at a more rapid pace and/or
approach the subject in more depth.
